About Coach Bubb

Jeremy Bubb is a track and field coach, founder, and athlete-development specialist with 17 years of coaching experience across the high school, collegiate, private, club, and post-collegiate levels. As the founder and head coach of RYFT Athletics, Jeremy works with athletes and families who want more than generic workouts. His coaching centers on evaluation, technical development, speed and power training, long-term planning, and helping athletes understand what is actually limiting their performance.

Jeremy’s background blends formal education in sport science with extensive continuing education and high-level coaching experience. He earned degrees in Exercise and Sport Science and Anthropology from Western Colorado University and holds certifications and specialist credentials, including USTFCCCA Specialists certifications in Speed, Jumps, Throws, and Weightlifting; ALTIS certifications in Pole Vault and Hammer & Javelin; USATF Level 1; USA Weightlifting; and NASM.

He was also selected as a recipient of the USATF National Championship Mentorship Grant, a USA Track & Field coaching-development honor that provides elite mentorship and behind-the-scenes professional development at the U.S. national championship level. In 2024, he and his businesses received the “Best of Aurora” Personal Trainer Award as well as the national Better Business Bureau Spark Award. His coaching approach is rooted in technical precision, athlete-specific problem solving, and the belief that athletes improve fastest when training is structured, intentional, and clearly explained.

Over his career, Jeremy has coached full-time at four universities and supported athletes across nearly every event group in track and field. His athletes have included NCAA champions, All-Americans, national qualifiers, conference champions, state champions, state record-holders, numerous top-10 nationally ranked high school athletes, and developing athletes who entered the sport with little to no prior experience. His work has spanned sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, combined events, strength and power development, adaptive athletes, and broader performance training for athletes in multiple sports.

Jeremy has also contributed to recent success at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, CO, helping the girls track and field team finish as state runner-up and supporting the boys program during a league championship title season. His boys shot put team was ranked 8th in the country in 2024. Those results were part of Cherry Creek’s historic 2024–25 athletic year, when the school earned the MaxPreps Cup and was recognized as the nation’s top overall high school athletic program.

At RYFT, Jeremy’s mission is to build a more complete track and field development system for athletes and families. He believes athletes deserve more than scattered sessions, vague feedback, or one-size-fits-all training. His goal is to help each athlete identify the right path, understand the “why” behind their training, build confidence through better movement, and pursue their potential with the structure and support normally reserved for higher levels of the sport.
