About RYFT Athletics — tRACK & fIELD cOACHING
We founded RYFT Athletics to bring high-level, event-specific coaching to Englewood and the Denver metro region — without losing the humanity, culture, and support athletes need to thrive. This is where performance meets belonging, and where athletes develop for years, not just seasons.
Why the name RYFT?
RYFT redefines what a rift means—not as a divide, but as a moment of transformation. It’s where the break becomes the breakthrough. It’s that split-second when you push past limits, pull away from the competition, and leave complacency and old habits behind. Friction turns into fuel. Energy turns into elevation. That’s the RYFT.
In track and field, separation is everything. It’s the difference between being good—and being undeniable.
At RYFT Track Club, we don’t wait for that separation. We engineer it.
Among our athletes, “RYFT” has even taken on a new meaning: Run Your Fastest Time.
No matter your event, we train you to break through the rift that stands between you and your personal best. Every rep. Every session. Every meet.
Mission & Vision — Track & Field Coaching in Colorado
At RYFT Athletics, our mission is to build more than stronger athletes — we build stronger communities and building a stronger sport. We believe in delivering world-class track & field coaching across all events, while fostering a supportive and empowering club culture. Whether you’re sprinting your first 100m or working toward elite-level competition, RYFT exists to help you grow — on the track, in the field, and in life.
Our vision is simple: to transform the athletic journey in the Denver metro area by creating a club where performance, personal growth, community, and lifelong athleticism intersect.
Our Story — How RYFT Athletics Built a Track Community
RYFT Athletics began from a shared passion: a passion for track & field, and a belief that coaching should be accessible to every athlete — regardless of age, background, or previous experience. Based in Englewood, Colorado, RYFT Athletics serves the greater Denver metro area — including Aurora, Centennial, Littleton, Parker, Highlands Ranch, and surrounding communities.
We started with a small group of dedicated athletes and a simple goal: give serious, high-quality coaching to young and aspiring talent that often lacks resources. It was truly a passion project that began during COVID when our head coach felt it was necessary to help young athletes in a time when they were rarely given a chance to even get outside.
Over time, we expanded — adding more event groups, more coaches, more athletes — from middle-school sprinters to masters throwers, from collegiate competitors to Paralympic hopefuls. With each season, our community grew. What started as a few private lessons, led to a small training group and eventually transformed into a true club: one built on respect, dedication, camaraderie, and ambition.
