What This Service Is

Training hard does not guarantee technical improvement.

Athletes can spend months repeating the same mistakes because no one is reviewing the details that actually determine performance. Remote coaching gives your athlete a trained technical eye, clear correction priorities, and a more organized path while they continue training with their school, club, local coach, or available setup.

This is not a generic PDF plan. It is a monthly coaching relationship built around video, communication, technical priorities, and the athlete’s current training environment.

Remote coaching is designed to provide

  • Event-specific technical feedback
  • Recurring review of practice or competition footage
  • Clear correction priorities
  • Drill recommendations and training-direction guidance
  • Monthly accountability and progression support
  • A coach-guided path without requiring the athlete to live in Denver
Best Fit

Who online coaching is for.

Remote coaching is strongest when the athlete already has access to training and needs better technical direction, recurring feedback, and a clearer set of priorities.

This is a strong fit if your athlete...

  • Trains outside the Denver metro
  • Already has a school, club, local coach, or regular training setup
  • Needs event-specific technical feedback
  • Can submit clear practice or meet video
  • Wants recurring guidance, not one random tip
  • Is serious enough to apply feedback consistently

Not always a fit for...

Athletes needing medical care, return-to-play clearance, physical therapy, daily individualized programming, unlimited video review, unlimited coach access, or hands-on safety supervision may need a different type of support.

What Your Athlete Receives Each Month

A simple coaching structure built around technical progress.

The standard remote coaching membership keeps the focus on what matters: observe the athlete, identify the priority, give useful feedback, and adjust the next step.

01

First-Month Onboarding Call

New athletes begin with a 30-minute onboarding conversation to clarify goals, event background, current training, competition schedule, and the first coaching priority.

02

Monthly Coach Check-In

One 30-minute virtual coaching meeting each month to discuss progress, current concerns, competition context, and next development priorities.

03

Recurring Video Review

Up to two submitted technical video reviews each month, focused on the athlete’s agreed event priorities.

04

Corrective Direction

Clear explanation of the most important technical issue currently limiting progress, with cues, drills, or training recommendations tied to the correction.

05

Development Priorities

A more organized monthly focus so the athlete knows what to improve instead of chasing every possible correction at once.

06

Reasonable Follow-Up

Athletes or parents may ask reasonable follow-up questions related to current coaching direction, with responses generally provided within two business days.

Standard Program Design

Ongoing technical support without unnecessary conflict.

Many remote athletes already train with a school team, club program, or local coach. RYFT Remote Coaching is designed to complement that environment when appropriate, not create confusion through competing daily programs.

Athletes who need complete individualized programming, substantially more frequent review, or high-touch competition management may require a different coaching arrangement.

The standard membership is best for athletes who need

  • Better event-specific technical feedback
  • Recurring review of practice or competition footage
  • Clear correction priorities
  • Drill recommendations and technical direction
  • Monthly accountability and progression guidance
  • A support layer that respects the athlete’s current training environment
How It Works

A simple process built around real improvement.

Remote coaching should not feel vague. The athlete applies, RYFT reviews the fit, the first priority is established, and the coaching loop begins.

Apply for remote coaching.

Complete the application with the athlete’s event, age, goals, current training situation, performance background, and type of support needed.

RYFT reviews the fit.

We assess whether remote coaching, one-time video analysis, in-person support, or another training path would serve the athlete best.

Approved athletes enroll.

Athletes accepted into the program receive a private enrollment link for the initial 3-month development block, billed monthly at $199.

Establish the first priority.

During onboarding, we identify the athlete’s current needs, training environment, competition schedule, and first technical emphasis.

Submit video and receive feedback.

The athlete submits training or competition footage and receives focused technical feedback, correction priorities, and practical next steps.

Review, adjust, and continue developing.

Monthly check-ins help evaluate what is improving, what still needs correction, and where the athlete should focus next.

Clear Expectations

Clear coaching. Clear boundaries.

Remote Track & Field Coaching is a performance-development service. It is designed to support technical progress and training direction, not replace medical care or unlimited in-person supervision.

The standard remote coaching program does not include

  • Unlimited video submissions
  • Unlimited calls or on-demand daily access
  • Medical diagnosis, injury treatment, or return-to-play clearance
  • Physical therapy or rehabilitation services
  • Individualized nutrition treatment
  • Guaranteed personal records, roster placement, scholarships, or competitive results
  • A complete individualized daily training program unless specifically agreed upon in a separate coaching arrangement

Athletes experiencing pain, injury, or medical concerns should work with qualified healthcare professionals.

Online track and field coaching from RYFT Athletics

RYFT Remote Track & Field Coaching gives athletes outside the Denver metro access to event-specific technical feedback, monthly coach check-ins, video review, correction priorities, and a clearer development path.

The standard remote coaching membership is designed for athletes who already have regular access to training and need better technical direction, recurring review, and guidance that can complement a school, club, or local training environment when appropriate.

How much does Remote Track & Field Coaching cost?

The initial 3-month development block is $199 per month, billed monthly, for a total initial coaching term of $597.

Why does the program begin with a three-month block?

Technical development requires enough time to observe the athlete, identify meaningful priorities, apply corrections, and evaluate progress. A three-month block creates a more useful coaching process than a one-week or one-call interaction.

Does the program include full weekly programming?

The standard remote coaching membership includes event-specific technical direction, recurring video review, monthly coach support, and corrective recommendations. Complete individualized daily programming is not automatically included unless arranged separately.

Can my athlete participate while training with a school team or local club?

Often, yes. RYFT can provide technical support and additional direction while respecting the athlete’s existing training environment. The athlete’s current coaching situation should be clearly explained in the application.

How many videos can the athlete submit?

The standard membership includes up to two technical video reviews each month. Each submission should be focused and provide usable footage related to the athlete’s agreed development priorities.

What age groups may apply?

Youth, middle school, high school, collegiate, masters, adaptive, and advanced athletes may apply. Acceptance depends on event fit, athlete needs, coaching availability, and whether remote coaching is appropriate.

What events can be coached remotely?

Remote coaching may support sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws, with pole vault, middle-distance, or distance support considered when appropriate for the athlete and available coaching expertise.

Do athletes need special equipment?

Athletes need regular access to an appropriate training environment for their event and a reliable way to record and submit usable video.

What happens after I apply?

RYFT reviews the athlete’s information and determines the most appropriate next step. Approved athletes receive a private enrollment link and onboarding instructions.

What if we only need one technical review?

Choose Track & Field Video Analysis instead. It is a one-time $59 review intended for athletes who want focused feedback without monthly coaching.

Train With More Direction

Your athlete does not need more random advice.

They need clear priorities, event-specific feedback, and a coaching relationship built around what actually matters next.
